Kerala community; LIC Agents Association; Modern Foods VRS employees promise support
Campaign of Mr Satya Pal Jain, BJP Candidate for Chandigarh Lok Sabha constituency got a big boost as Mr Nirmal Singh Titu, Chairman of the Colony Cell of Youth Congress and Mr Ninder Singh, General Secretary of Nationalist Congress party today joined Bharatiya Janata Party along with hundreds of their supporters.
In a programme held in the Chandigarh state BJP office Mr Sanjay Tandon, General Secretary of Chandigarh Pradesh BJP and Candidate of BJP from Chandigarh Parliamentary Constituency Mr Satya Pal Jain welcomed them into the party fold. Speaking on this occasion Mr Jain said the congress MP and Union Minister is facing very strong resentment in the city due to his non-performance and people have made up their mind to teach him a lesson this time.
Later a delegation of Divisional Council, LIC Agents Association met Mr Jain and Mr Sanjay Tandon to apprise them of their problems. After listening to their problems Mr Jain said government employees in Chandigarh seem to have no voice, he promised to lend his voice to their demands. The Association leaders assured Mr Jain of their whole hearted support in the elections. The delegation comprised of M/s KK Manocha, RK Arora, JD Lakhanpal, Anil Kumar Sahram, Girish Kapoor, Dr Naresh Kumar, Sanjeev Sharma, Shiv Dass, Ashok Loomba, Vijay Ahlawat, Sachin, Himanshu Biswal, Sunil and others.
Members of Kerala community of Chandigarh today decided to lend support to Mr Jain. In a meeting held in the Chandigarh BJP office they promised do work to ensure the victory of BJP candidate in the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections. Mr Rajendran Chettiar, Treasurer of Chandigarh State BJP Yuva Morcha, Mr Sanjay Tandon and Mr Satya Pal Jain thanked the community for its support.
Members of Modern Foods VRS ex-employees Association lead by Mr Vijay Kumar also met Mr Jain in a delegation. The Association with 250 members has offered full support to Mr Jain during the forthcoming elections.
