Jain promises to work for justice to low paid central employees

BJP candidate from Chandigarh Lok Sabha constituency Mr Satya Pal Jain today assured low paid central government employees that he will make a strong case for revisiting the recommendations of the sixth pay commission to ensure justice to these categories. He said the sixth pay commission has not been fair to the low paid categories while it has been very generous to the high paid classes. Addressing employees in a rally held in sector 33 Mr Jain assured them that he will raise this matter forcefully in the parliament and do all to ensure that the recommendations of the pay commission are amended.
That the election campaign of Mr Satya Pal Jain is gathering momentum every day was visible today also. He started his day with a padyatra in sector 37 where he was received with garlands and beats of drums. He addressed public meetings in sectors 46, 44 and 27. Large crowds welcome Mr Jain and his fellow padyatries in whatever locality he reached.
Members of All India Mazdoor Bhalai Manch lead by Mr Preet Pal Singh and members of the Student’s Organisation of India lead by Mr Paramvir Singh Sunny announced their full support to Mr Jain and BJP.
Last evening Mr Jain addressed a public meeting in Maloya with Dr Subramanian Swamy, President of Janata Party where a large gathering of south Indian community cheered Dr Swamy who addressed them in Tamil. Dr Swami asked the gathering to give full support to Mr Jain for whose campaign he had especially come to Chandigarh . He exhorted them to contact all members of the south Indian community and ensure that he wins. Mr Jain addressing the gathering said that he will address the problems of this community – especially regularisation of those who have been working as daily wage employees for years.
In a public meeting in sector 41 on Wednesday over 300 members of Lok Bhalai Party lead by Mr Joginder Pal announced that they had joined the BJP. Mr Jain and other senior BJP leaders welcomed them in to the party fold. In a public meeting in village Kaimbwala Mr Jain was weighed against laddoos.
