Jain Promises Balanced Rent act within six months of BJP coming to power

BJP candidate for the Chandigarh Loksabha Seat Mr Satya Pal Jain today assured the trading community that Draft of Balanced Rent Act will be tabled in the parliament within six months of BJP coming to power at the centre. During his padyatra of Sector 26 market Mr Jain recalled the fact that during the last Loksabha elections Congress Party had promised a Balanced Rent Act but didn’t fulfill the promise during its five year tenure, which caused great deal of trouble to both the property owners and the tenants.
Mr Jain said Congress is an anti trader party and has exploited them the most. Now the Chandigarh Municipal corporation is exploiting the trading community and harassing them without any reason. He said on coming to power at the centre BJP will set up a committee which will include representatives of trading fraternity to suggest solutions to problems of the this community. Recommendations of the committee will guide the government to address problems of the trading community.
On arrival at the sector 26 market Mr Jain was profusely welcomed by the traders with flower garlands. He was weighed with coins at several places. The atmosphere was filled sound of slogans and clapping. The large number of people rushing to garland and apply tilak to their leader gave the impression as if the entire city had congregated in the Sector 26 market. Mr Jain accepted the garland and greetings of all in a most cordial manner. Office bearer of BJP trader’s cell lead by its convener Mr Kailash Jain and including M/s Ram Karan, Harish Garg, Pramod Sharma, Vinod Agrawal, Satish Agrawal, Mahesh Gupta, SunilKumar, Virender, Rakesh Gupta and Anil Vohra went from shop to shop with Mr Jain and canvassed votes for him.
Earlier in the day Mr Jain went for door to door canvassing during his padyatra of sector 46 where he promised that on coming to power at the centre BP will regularise all need based internal modifications in Housing Board houses. He promised that thousands of long pending cases of GPA related transfers of ownership will be addressed in a time bound manner. He assured residents of the sector that notices for cancellation of allotment or resumptions will be withdrawn forthwith. During the padyatra of sector 46 Mr Jain was accompanied by a large number of local leaders and activists of the party namely M/s. Ram Das Sharma, Gurpreet Singh Dhillon, Davesh Moudgil, Prahlad Tiwari, Satyawan Shera, Nancy Gunju, Dulari Gupta, Harish Garg, Pawan Gupta, Sukhi, Rajiv Goyal, Amit Rana and Dr. Vikram Yadav.
Mr Jai Ram Joshi, a senior BJP leader also joined the campaign today and appealed to the people to vote for Mr Jain.
