Jain Meets lawyer fraternity on the eve of filing nomination on Friday
• Says UPA fraying away, parties speak in different tongues;
• UPA now just opportunistic alliance
• NDA has stood test of time, sure to emerge victorious, time and again
• Problems of HC lawyers remain unaddressed though city MP is lawyer himself
• BJP will solve all problems of lawyers on coming to power
• Will work, ensure that officers work too; we know how officer work, stand “committed to work”
Senior Advocate and BJP candidate for Chandigarh Lok Sabha Constituency Mr Satya Pal Jain today assured Punjab and Haryana High Court lawyers that on coming to power at the centre BJP will address their problems which have remained in a limbo for the last ten years. After his interaction with the lawyers he said the fact that their problems remained unsolved indicates that the Congress MP from Chandigarh during the last ten years did not try to solve the problems in spite of having been a lawyer himself. Thanking the Bar fraternity for welcoming him he assured them that oncoming to power the BJP will attempt to solve all problems of the lawyers. He promised serious efforts to this end and assured that no excuses will be offered. We will work sincerely and get the officers to work as we know how to make the bureaucracy work. Mr Jain said he is fully committed to perform.
He discussed the problems faced by lawyers on the basis of his own experience as a senior advocate and said he is fully aware of the problems. He made a special mention of common mans long wait for justice.
Discussing the present political scenario Mr Jain said the Congress lead UPA is totally at sea. The constituents of UPA are at logger heads with each other and are speaking in different tongues. Lalu Yadav says the UPA candidate for PMs post will be decided after the results are out. Pranab Mukerjee says Lalu is going to be irrelevant and the next day cozies up to the same Lalu. Clearly there are differences over the Prime Ministers post in the UPA. The fact is that it is just an opportunistic alliance and will fritter away as it loses power. Mr Jain said on the other hand NDA is a principled and time tested alliance which has remained intact even when it was not power at the centre. It will not be wrong to say that NDA is going to last. He was confident that NDA will win the elections and come to power again and again.
On the occasion of Mr Jains visit to the High Court members of the High Court Bar Clerks association announced their support to Mr Jain. Association President Mr Ashok Kumar said in a press statement that the association will give all help to Mr Jain.
