Chandigarh Lok Sabha Elections 2019 – Free IPL Passes, Gifts For First-Time Voters

Cricket fever is in great trend and cricket fans go crazy about IPL matches. Similarly, Lok Sabha Elections 2019 comes nearby. Here is the great news announced by district administration that the first-time voters get the free IPL matches passes or tickets for the upcoming IPL matches from April to May that held at PCA and total seven IPL matches PCA host this season.

“As many as 100 first-time voters will get gifts during IPL matches, which will be played in April and May at PCA. The first 100 voters will get coffee mugs on a first come, first served basis. Therefore, three stalls will be put up on three gates, that are 3-4, 5-6 and 14. Gifts can be taken after showing electoral photo identity card from these stalls,” the DC said.

Sapra said, “We wish to become the district with the highest number of youngsters enrolled as voters this time.”  All the winning candidates will get their IPL tickets from the district election officer(ADEO), Sakshi Sawhney office having room number 206 of District Administrative Complex.

SVEEP programme(Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation) take this initiative.  Sapra also said that EVMs(electronic voting machines) at the stalls have been made all the arrangements to sensitise the first-time voters.
