Jain accuses Congress lead Central Government of ignoring Chandigarh
“BJP to assure perfect coordination within Govt wings, smooth functioning to ensure development of the city”
Addressing various meetings during the day Mr Jain accused the Congress lead central government of ignoring interests of Chandigarh and neglecting the development of the city. He said development of the city had come to a halt during the last five years due to infighting between various wings of the government and the minister. Mr Jain said on coming to power in the centre BJP will assure perfect coordination between various wings of the government and smooth functioning of the government departments dealing with Chandigarh to ensure development of the city.
Mr Jain today visited Badheri and Palsora for his morning padyatra where he was given a warm welcome by the villagers who assured him full support. Later he went to the offices of District Bar Association and the Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT) Bar Association to meet the members of the legal fraternity. He approached them for their support. A large number of members of the legal fraternity assure him of their full support.
Mr Jain went to sector 18 market and Sadar Bazar sector 19 during the afternoon where members of the two markets gave him a warm welcome; he was profusely garlanded and assured full support during the election. Mr Jain also addressed members of Ramgarhia biradari in Industrial Area; he held public meetings in Transport area, sector 34C, sector 16 and Deep Complex Hallomajra.
Hundreds of Youth Congress workers lead by Mr Sadhu Ram today joined BJP. They include Mr Charanjeet Channi, Soni Babla, Kamlajeet Dhiman, Gurjeet Singh, Randhir Singh, Pradeep Goldy, Harmesh, Kamal Kishor, Jaswant Singh, Deepak Goldy, Kulwinder Kandy, Pramod Kumar, and Guljar Mohammad. State BJP president Mrs Kamla Sharma and Mr Satya Pal Jain welcomed them in to the party.
The Himachal Sarv Kalyankari Parishad lead by Mr Rajendra Rana today decided to support Mr Jain. Members of the Parishad have been requested to approach Chandigarh residents belonging to Himachal Pradesh to approach their compatriots to vote for Mr Jain.
The Physically Handicapped Association Punjab has also decided to support Mr Jain. The meting of the association where this decision was taken was attended by Mr Balkar Singh Rathour and Mr Harmesh Kumar.
